How the trainer plays like R6
Siege fights are short and decided by who is already aiming at the right spot. Heads are small, angles are tight, and a single headshot kills with almost any gun, so crosshair placement matters more than raw flick speed.
Aim Trainer's R6 mode uses a rifle with mostly vertical kick and a slight right drift, and bots that peek deliberately and crouch-hold instead of strafing wildly. Your R6 horizontal sensitivity converts straight in.
Sensitivity
Type in your R6 horizontal sensitivity and the trainer turns exactly as far as R6 for the same mouse movement. A 360° check confirms it.
Rifle: M-4 Raider
Mostly vertical kick with a right drift and visual shake. Strong recovery between bursts.
Enemies
Enemies have 100 health and no damage numbers or outlines. They peek slowly and often crouch-hold, the way Siege defenders do.
Map
The Auto map setting picks Sunset Bazaar for R6. Cover blocks your shots, and bots shoot back from Tier III.
Best aim drills for R6
Crosshair placement at head height, small precise flicks, holding angles patiently, and controlling vertical recoil.
Corner Peek
Enemies swing out from cover. Keep your crosshair on the edge at head height so you barely need to move.
Headshot DM
Only headshots count, which is what wins most Siege gunfights.
Microflick
Small, fast corrections onto close heads after a slightly-off pre-aim.
Reflex Pop
Targets appear for a moment, like a defender peeking a hole in a wall.
Spray Control
Learn to pull down against vertical kick for the follow-up shots.
Duel Angles
Clear a doorway, box, stairs and corner one angle at a time while moving.
A 15-minute R6 aim routine
Do this before you queue. Play each drill at the tier where you hit most of your shots, and move up a tier when you reach Gold.

How to improve your aim in R6
Pre-aim at head height
Siege heads are small and angles are tight. Hold every angle with your crosshair where the head will appear.
Peek, don't run
Lean and peek angles one at a time instead of swinging wide into several.
Control vertical recoil
Most Siege rifles kick straight up. Pull down steadily for the follow-up shots.
Warm up on small targets
Short sessions on small, precise targets carry over best to Siege headshots.
R6 sensitivity in cm/360
cm/360 is how far you move your mouse to turn a full circle. It is the one number that means the same thing in every game. The table assumes the default MouseSensitivityMultiplierUnit (0.02) in GameSettings.ini. R6 doesn't publish its yaw, so confirm your turn with the 360° check.
| R6 sens | 400 DPI | 800 DPI | 1600 DPI |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | 79.8 cm | 39.9 cm | 19.9 cm |
| 8 | 49.9 cm | 24.9 cm | 12.5 cm |
| 10 | 39.9 cm | 19.9 cm | 10.0 cm |
| 12 | 33.2 cm | 16.6 cm | 8.3 cm |
| 15 | 26.6 cm | 13.3 cm | 6.6 cm |

R6 aim trainer FAQ
Does it use my R6 sensitivity?
Yes. Pick Rainbow Six Siege in setup and enter your horizontal sensitivity. The trainer assumes the default multiplier unit (0.02), and the 360° check confirms the turn.
Does it include leaning or destruction?
No. Aim Trainer trains aim only: crosshair placement, flicks, headshots and recoil.
Is this a replacement for Siege's Shooting Range?
It's a complement. The Shooting Range is good for testing guns, and Aim Trainer adds scored drills, difficulty tiers and a breakdown of your misses.
