Apex Legends Aim Trainer
Apex fights are long and fast. This Apex aim trainer uses your Apex sensitivity and FOV, enemies with shields, and recoil that moves your camera, so you practise holding your aim on strafing, jumping targets.

How the trainer plays like Apex
Apex Legends has high time-to-kill. One clean flick doesn't win a fight: you have to stay on a strafing, sliding, jumping enemy for a whole magazine. That makes tracking the most important aim skill in Apex.
In Aim Trainer's Apex mode the rifle fires fast, kicks up-left and drifts right, and the camera follows the recoil without coming back, so you pull down and hold, like the R-301. Enemies move at Apex strafe speeds and jump on direction changes.
Sensitivity
Type in your Apex mouse sensitivity and the trainer turns exactly as far as Apex for the same mouse movement. A 360° check confirms it.
Rifle: R-3 Carbine
Fast auto rifle: kicks up-left then drifts right. The camera follows the recoil and does not come back – pull down and hold.
Enemies
Enemies have 100 health plus 100 shield. Health bars appear once they are damaged, and coloured damage numbers show shield and health hits, as in Apex.
Map
The Auto map setting picks Harbor Yard for Apex. Cover blocks your shots, and bots shoot back from Tier III.
Best aim drills for Apex
Smooth tracking, reacting to direction changes, and recoil control at close and mid range. Target switching matters in third-party fights.
Strafe Track
Stay on targets that strafe left and right and change direction, like an Apex player ADADing.
Jitter Track
Fast, short direction changes. Trains reacting instead of predicting.
Sky Track
Targets in the air, for jump pads, zip-lines and enemies jumping off high ground.
Switchblade
Kill several targets in a row, moving cleanly from one to the next in a third-party fight.
Spray Control
Learn to pull down against camera recoil and keep a full magazine on target.
A 15-minute Apex aim routine
Do this before you queue. Play each drill at the tier where you hit most of your shots, and move up a tier when you reach Gold.

How to improve your aim in Apex
Track, don't flick
Apex fights last a whole magazine. Practise staying on strafing targets more than snapping onto still ones.
Pull down and hold
Most Apex rifles and SMGs kick up. Learn each weapon's pull and practise holding it on target at close and mid range.
React to direction changes
Players strafe left and right constantly. Jitter Track trains you to follow the change instead of guessing it.
Keep a consistent sens
Use the same base sens and the same ADS multipliers between sessions so your muscle memory builds up.
Apex sensitivity in cm/360
cm/360 is how far you move your mouse to turn a full circle. It is the one number that means the same thing in every game. Apex uses the same sensitivity scale as CS2. Apex players often play faster than tactical-shooter players, because tracking close-range strafes needs quicker turns.
| Apex sens | 400 DPI | 800 DPI | 1600 DPI |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 103.9 cm | 52.0 cm | 26.0 cm |
| 1.3 | 79.9 cm | 40.0 cm | 20.0 cm |
| 1.6 | 64.9 cm | 32.5 cm | 16.2 cm |
| 2 | 52.0 cm | 26.0 cm | 13.0 cm |
| 2.5 | 41.6 cm | 20.8 cm | 10.4 cm |
| 3 | 34.6 cm | 17.3 cm | 8.7 cm |

Apex aim trainer FAQ
Does it match my Apex sensitivity and FOV?
Sensitivity, yes, exactly. Field of view is close: Apex scales its FOV slider, so the trainer approximates it. The 360° check confirms your turn speed is identical.
Is this good for practising tracking?
Yes. Strafe Track, Jitter Track and Sky Track are tracking drills, and the Arena & BR playlist puts them together with target switching and spray control.
Does it work for controller players?
No. Aim Trainer trains mouse aim and needs a mouse and keyboard.
